My sister and I had high hopes for the spa here. They were quickly quashed by the factory like atmosphere. All the staff was concerned with was getting you in your place at the appropriate time and through the system on time. Massage itself was average and nothing my husband couldn't have provided. Definitely not a relaxing serene atmosphere. Extremely... More

We had a blast today at the Stowe mountain resort. For me who had absolute no experience I booked the clinic group lesson thinking I will spend majority of time falling. Our coach Bruce Goodwin was simply awesome - he's extremely patient and did a great job explaining the delicate art of feeling yourself on the skis. We learned later... More

What can I say. I'm hooked. Great great resort. Too late to hit the slopes the first night but got to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub during a snow storm! The next day was amazing with the rentals, the ski school and the slopes.

Lovely resort. Simple, not too commercial. Classy environment. Nice small outdoors skating rink. Few shops with high quality clothing. Few restaurants, nothing too fancy. Fun walk after skiing...

We stay here often and always love it, especially at Christmas. They decorate so beautifully and offer lots of activities to enjoy. It is a gorgeous resort with a wonderful spa and great shopping.

Luckily we skied on a Monday and Tuesday with no crowds. We seemed to have the mountain to ourselves. We stayed a SML and skied Spruce in the mountain with the sun and then took the Easy Over Gondola to Mt Mansfield. Took the Gondola to the top and warmed up in the Octagon. The bathrooms were cleaned and the... More

I have not skied Stowe in at least 15 to 20 years. The reason being is that last time I was there it took me almost an hour to get out of the parking lot, not the access road, THE PARKING LOT!. This was before the buildup of Spruce Peak. I swore I would never ski there again. However this... More

It snowed the entire time we were here. Skied/snowboarded for two days. Put the kids in ski school and they loved it. I felt Stowe ski area and ski school ran like a well oiled machine. Would recommend coming here even though it might be far.

We skied Friday and Saturday, and stayed mostly on the north face from Mansfield Lodge. The Forerunner Quad takes you to the top, where many of the trails are black diamonds, and I found it easier to navigate those before they got heavy traffic. Lift lines were negligible on Friday. Our group found on Saturday that the triple chair lift... More

Skied with children and grandchildren for the day. Parking is difficult as you are far from the lodge. Good to drop off the skis and then park. We skied Mansfield and enjoyed the Toll Road for our beginners. We took the gondola later for the advanced skiers. Gorgeous upscale lodge for lunch. Good food. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and...
