We stayed for three nights on holiday. It is a beautifully situated country hotel with lovely grounds and a charming old-fashioned character (though all mod cons). The decor and atmosphere are really attractive. We stayed in the main house That said it wasn't perfect - the service in the dining room is friendly but a bit chaotic, and when we... More

We spent two nights in one of the rooms on the hill. Wonderful room with working fireplace. The bar downstairs at the inn was very pleasant, and the breakfast and dinner in the main dining room was wonderful with attentive service and great food and wine. We took full advantage of the cross country trails and all surrounding amenities. A... More

Overall, quite nice but our room in the Manor was too small for a couple. Better option is to request a room in one of the outbuildings. Good food well served.

My girlfriend and I stayed here last year right after they reopened from their renovations. Let me tell you something, this place is amazing. We were coming back to our room and we saw a fox jumping around, SWEET!!! The breakfast is delicious, the staff is so good, and the grounds are just friggin' delightful. Stay here or suffer in... This place is so gracious, so serene and peaceful. The dining room is outstanding, and the bar in the lower level is pretty great. Everything about this place, staff, the fresh air, the views, the patio overlooking the pond — it's all good.

We visited the inn last February for the first time and were delighted with our experience. Our room was charming, freshly redecorated by someone with a keen eye and wonderful North Country sensibility. This large property offers gorgeous winter views from every window of snow covered fields and forest land. The dining room was very attractive and comfortable. There were... More

The approach to this property has you excited with what is install for you! The scenery is amazing and the view from the property is incredible. We were greeted warmly and shown through to a beautiful room with yet more incredible views. So far so good. Then we were presented with the weirdest menu. We visited the property for dinner... Selfishly, I love the fact that no-one really knows of the the great bar downstairs and the fabulous kitchen. The cocktails are inventive and the food is tasty. Please keep it a secret!

A quiet location that offers a chance to relax and enjoy the Vermont experience. Tastefully decorated rooms and a dining room that looks out over the property. This was used as a location in the movie " The Four Seasons" starring Alan Alda.

We left 75 degree temperatures in Florida to go to Stowe, Vermont to do winter activities we had never tried before. We were fortunate enough to get temperatures in the single digits and teens for the final weekend of winter. The Edson Hill Manor was beyond spectacular. Eric, his wife Jessie and the entire staff - including restaurant personnel -treated... More
