Found this place in a travel magazine. Wonderful views and a short hike. The only problem we had are that none of the trails have markings to tell you which trail you are on. We just wandered on them, it would be hard to get...More

We went for a nearby, after Thanksgiving dinner hike. The hike was just the right distance on a cold windy day. There are lookouts views of Lake Champlain. We were fortunate to see a couple of peregrine falcons.

Not much to say. It's a bit of an urban park: lots of people throughout. There are nice bike paths and a SUP rental right on the water.

Lots of dogs and runners. Everyone smiling despite grey skies. Great views of Lake Champlain. Limited parking.

A nice place for a walk. Wide trails with views of Lake Champlain. It has a sandy beach and a roped in area for swimming.

It's just a beautiful spot. The paths are well kept and there are elevation changes to give you some nice exercise. As a newcomer to the area, I did get lost a few times. The paths don't exactly conform to the map and they are...More

Once you park, how far in do you hike (a mile? Is it up hill? Are flip flops ok or do you need hiking shoes?)

Flip-flops are ok for most of the park but if you want to explore the rocky shoreline then snickers would be better. You park right in the park. The park is only 100 acres but it has many different trails so hiking 1 mile is... More
