We went for a nearby, after Thanksgiving dinner hike. The hike was just the right distance on a cold windy day. There are lookouts views of Lake Champlain. We were fortunate to see a couple of peregrine falcons.

Not much to say. It's a bit of an urban park: lots of people throughout. There are nice bike paths and a SUP rental right on the water.

Lots of dogs and runners. Everyone smiling despite grey skies. Great views of Lake Champlain. Limited parking.

These well maintained trails wander all through the woods, with viewing points and benches that overlook Lake Champlain. The trails are not marked but, if you don't fret it and don't sweat it, you'll find your way back to the beginning. Enjoy the smell of cedar trees, the views on to the lake, the colors of the red/pink/flesh-toned rocks, the... More

Hiking around these trails was easy. Parents could hike with their young children with no problem. There are some wonderful views. If you had the time, you could become familiar with the trails. However, we were only staying for a few hours so I found it confusing. Marking the trails would be an improvement to this park. We asked some... More

The hiking trails in this park look amazing. Really well maintained, lots of shade. We really wanted to hike out to see the red rocks, but once we discovered the beach, we were done. My kids went in with there clothes on. It's a really nice beach with a bathroom. Small waves which my daughter loved swimming in. A great... More

A nice place for a walk. Wide trails with views of Lake Champlain. It has a sandy beach and a roped in area for swimming.

It's just a beautiful spot. The paths are well kept and there are elevation changes to give you some nice exercise. As a newcomer to the area, I did get lost a few times. The paths don't exactly conform to the map and they are not marked. I wasn't worried about being stranded in the forest buy it could cause... More

Red rocks park holds a lot of fun memories from my childhood in and I was not disappointed with my return visit after not visiting here for 20 years. The trails are easily navigated and the view of the lake are fantastic!
