What more can you you ask for in a state park? Beach. Swimming. Boating and a wonderful hike around the lake. We came back a second time in the same week!

The park was still closed for the season, but there were people fishing on the lake. It was calm and peaceful and a lovely place for grilling and having supper with my elderly parents.

Came here twice while staying in Shaftsbury. The park is clean with a decent size beach. Paddle boats and canoes are available to rent.

We love it here, especially the view of the mountains and the serious nature walk around the lake. A nice place for adults, teens and small children to relax. Can rent paddle boats and canoes.
