We took the vertical hike to the waterfall and what an incredible sight! Well worth the short but uphill hike! Lots of other hikers, everyone talkative and friendly. A well marked trail and lots of little side trails for the more adventurous! Nice and shady and falls leaves were still hanging around. A joyous end to our Vermont adventure.

Lovely view of the lake, but off season there isn't much going on. Admission $4 adult, $2.50 child seems a bit steep for a small park on the waterside. Good toilets.

Stayed for 2 nights with a teenager and 2 children under 10. My campsite had a lean-to which is great in case of rain. Sites are spacious and in a beautiful location on Lake Dunmore. The beach is nice with a playground nearby and they also have a nature center with various scheduled activities.

We rented a canoe and enjoyed paddling around the lake. Loved seeing loons, a feisty cormorant and many gulls. Really a beautiful lake!

This was a really nice park. Easy to find. $4 per adult entrance fee, $2 per child. Lovely grassy area for setting up a blanket and chairs. Clean swimming area. We rented kayaks and had a great time exploring. We did not order food at the concession, but it was available if we didn't bring our own food. Clean bathrooms.... More

A few years ago my family and I stopped going here in the summer because the mosquitos were so bad, even throughout the day. Today a friend talked me into trying to go again, and I was not disappointed! The snack bar wasn't wonderful, and they were out of items, but swimming was good, playing in the sand was good... More

Park was quiet and we love, love, loved the location. Nice hiking trails all around the grounds and pretty lake and foliage. We stayed across from the main entrance and loved out site. Easy walk to the restrooms and so serene. Nice forest coverage and flat campsite. We fit 3 tents on our site with plenty of room for the... More

We camped at Branbury State Park May 22-25, at the Spruce lean-to site. Our site was secluded since we were right at the end of the campground and adjacent to a rock cliff that was great for keeping the warmth of the fire in our area on those chilly May nights. Our site was also at the start of the... More

Visited with DH and DD (3). We drove 1 1/2 hours to get here, that is how much we love it. Sanded beach, clean waters, nice facilities, snacks and boat rentals. Spacious area so although busy not overly crowded. Shaded and sunny areas to park your beach towels for the day.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this park. It was a nice park. Very quiet in the night. Quiet hours are strictly enforced. Grasy sites but no privacy betwenn them on the lake side. We will be back.
