I had never heard of this place until I saw it listed along with the Vermont Country Store on Trip Advisor. We ventured to the site. It is situated on a hill. We drove up near the meeting house and a lady popped out of...More

This wonderful old white wooden building really moved me. The setting is magical, especially on a summer evening. We lingered until the sun set in the deep lavender sky. Being there felt like being transported in time. There is nothing to "offend the eye." Thank...More

Easy access from main highway not to far out of the way as the road simply loops back to 103. Worth the extra time to see it.

I visited the Rockingham Meeting House while in the Bellows Falls area to attend a music festival. A portion of the festival took place in the building. It is a fascinating 1700s era building with an interesting back story. A real slice of local history.

An historic, white steepled meeting house in the Vermont countryside--the perfect place for a country wedding. And the acoustics inside the church are delightful for wedding ceremony music.
