I had never been to Quechee Gorge, although I had driven by on many occasions. Finally, we made the effort to stop at the Visitors Center, which is just before the bridge. We got a map and walked up to the dam overlook, then back...More

Quechee is beautiful but not a destination. If you stop, take time to hike down to the reservoir and the bottom of the gorge. It only takes about 1/2 hr and is well worth the short hike. Otherwise 10 minutes is enough time to look...More

We saw someone describing this as Vermont's Grand Canyon. No - it is not. It is a nice enough river gorge which you need to see from the bridge as the walk along the edge - at least the bit we did - has the...More

This is a pretty gorge. There is a nice path along it with great photo ops. Lots of tourists, even in the rain, but worth a stop if you’re in the area.

This is an easy attraction right on the road. There is a large pullout parking area to stop and take out your camera. A sidewalk is provided so that pedestrians are not in danger of being close to the road traffic. This gorge is quite...More

If you're going through Quechee, and see a somewhat narrow bridge, it's worth a stop - pull over and just walk to the center of the short bridge, and take in the view of the gorge - it's fairly breathtaking. Lovely to see in the...More

The gorge supplied awesome views. I was there just when the leaves on the trees were starting to turn. I'm guessing in October, they are on fire! This place is worth stopping to see! I suggest the Quality Inn in town, nice little hotel.

The campground is well maintained. Bathrooms, coin operated showers, are very clean. Good trails, sites and common spaces. Staff was helpful & friendly. Quiet hours were respected. The Gorge & Damn walks require traversing some steep inclines and narrow dirt paths with exposed tree roots....More

I saw dogs on the leash crossing the bridge. I assume they are allowed down on the trails - did not see any no dog sign. I would recommend you bring a poop bag if needed to keep the areas clean. enjoy! it must be superb with... More
