This is not far from Rutland and is a fun place to visit. Lots of interesting rooms and things to see. And when you step outside you'll see some really scenic countryside. This is easily accessible by car or bicycle.

This castle was incredible. The decor was amazing, and there was such a wide array of cultures represented. It's hard to find that all in one place. We hope the restoration work is able to be completed so that this historical location isn't lost!

Great large house from the 1800's showing off the styles and tastes of the original owner. However, it needs a major face lift and some TLC, would be great if Vermont would assist the owners to keep the house as a historical site.
