They make the best cheese! We make a point everytime we are in VT to get some, one of our favorites! Very pastoral, nice place to walk. Like a walk back in history.

We went to Calvin Coolidge Homestead as one of our vacation attractions. It is very inexpensive to get into and a lot to see. The day we went you could see everything on a self guided tour. Some days they have a curator take you through the house to see everything. When you first go in the have a historical... More

My mother & I visited this small historical village on a weekday afternoon around 4:00. We knew it closed at 5:00 but our day had been full so we weren't able to get there until then. We were so disappointed to learn that we couldn't go into the village exhibits without paying for a full price wristband and watching an... More

A visit to Calvin Coolidge Homestead was quite interesting and very informative. All the staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. The site consisted of many buildings including the room in which he was born. And the larger home that he lived in as a child. A general store, a Church and a cheese farm were also included in the tour.

Lovely drive to get there so take your time with the drive too. There are signs to take you up to the parking lot at the visitor center so keep an eye out for those. The visitor center is well laid out and does a great job of covering the time line and how things were there in President Coolidge's... More

Beautiful location and property. Well kept piece of history of our 30th President. We had lunch on the grounds which was very reasonable and very good. It is a walking tour of the grounds. We learned a lot about President Coolidge. I would recommend this as a stop if your near Plymouth VT. It is now a favorite place for... More

Not only was Calvin Coolidge born here, he was sworn into the office of President by his father here. There is a visitor's center with a lot of information. Definitely worth a stop!

Come here and you can see that Coolidge was born here, and he was inaugurated President here. Probably the only president where that is true.

It is like time stood still for us all to enjoy generations later. Learn more about history, especially presidential history of Calvin Coolidge. There is his birthplace and main house where he was notified and sworn in as president. See the phone that was brought into the house for such an occasion and much more. The grounds are beautiful and... More

Such a pleasant and interesting place to visit. The history of Coolidge so meaningful, the Visitor Center accommodating and the preserved buildings so interesting. In the actual birthplace, home, a small commercial restaurant is in operation. The people who run the business are helpful with history, the local color and so friendly. And wait till you taste the Apple Fritter... More
