These guys used to teach...and promote baking from scratch...wow the store was nothing but overpriced mixes of all kinds and expensive pans and utensils...real nice pans...pots...spatulas...utensils but the prices were about 3 times what they should be...very disappointed going all that way to leave with a loaf of bread because everything else was so expensive...The King indeed !

Thank you for having visited our Baker’s Store, David, and also for taking the time to share the impressions you were left with. You’re absolutely right to point out our growing line of premium baking mixes and kitchenware. These are two areas of our offerings that have blossomed quite substantially over the years! We’re genuinely sorry to learn that you... More

I would make the drive again from Long Island to Vermont just to go to the King Arthur store and perhaps fit in some classes. Very exciting as I use their flour, and have received their brochures, but was unprepared for the experience of seeing so many baking products under one roof. The sales staff is awesome, very knowledgeable and... More

This was on my wife's bucket list not mine however even us guys would enjoy it. The cooking class was very interested and the chef know who the bakers were in the class. Make sure you get a cup of coffee and try some of their bake goods as they were all wonderful. The gift shop had everything you would... More

An unexpected gem. A baker's heaven. Enjoyed looking around the shop, and buying some flour directly from the source! Also got some sour dough starting, and feeling inspired to try my hand at baking bread!

Have long been a fan of KAF. Classes are well presented and are hands on. Instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Store personnel are friendly and super helpful. Love their products. Wish more were available locally. Gluten free bread made in class.

Think gluten free section, measuring cups that have 1/8 c, 2/3c and 3/4 c as well as the usual measurements, measuring spoons with 1/8 tsp, 3/4 tsp, 1/2 Tbs as well as the usual. Bread machines, scone pans, mini scone pans, gluten free bread... More

Ahh! An icon ingredient in the baking world known as King Arthur Flour. We drove out of the way to the visitors center to the cafe and ordered our sandwiches. I ordered the Brie and apple and my husband ordered the brisket. My Brie and apple was the worst sandwich I have ever had. What was not to like with... More

Thanks for stopping by, Angie! The Brie & Apple sandwich is a cafe favorite, but we're sorry to know that it didn't do the trick for you. It sounds like the situation was quickly righted by the exchange for a ham sandwich, and we hope this will encourage you to pay us another visit soon. There's much more on our... More

I took a four-day Bread Baking Class at King Arthur Flour and spent a grand week there. The facility is superb -- the store is a baker's paradise, the café and bakery sell great food and I loved my class. It was a great week. I can't wait to go back! If you're a baker and you find yourself in... More

This is it! A bakers delight! Besides the lunch we enjoyed there, the store turned out to be a bakers shopping paradise. Different varieties of flour & bakng mixes & bakng pans and utensils. Also beautiful dish towels, pot holders & mugs. If you plan ahead, you can take a pass or two!

King Arthur Flour is a must visit for any serious baker! It is a store, restaurant, and baking school in one. I took the Bread: 101 class. Classes fill fast, so I highly suggest that you sign up ahead of time if you are going to be in the area. We learned a lot and baked 3 loaves of bread... More
