If you are visiting the area and enjoy baking (or know someone who does), I would definitely stop here. I was in Lebanon on business, but before returning home, I made the minor detour to King Arthur. My wife loves the mixes and flour sold here and several boxes came home with me. We have previously had lunch at the... More

As a birthday present my son gave me a baking class at King Arthur's in VT. Surprisingly, he signed up me and my husband (who can boil water), himself and his partner for a class on Rustic Winter Tarts. Simply put, it was WONDERFUL!! I love to cook and bake so I am not new to the task, but I... More

We make a tri[p about twice a year and each time it is so much fun to visit the store and enjoy the best breads for lunch in the world. This is the "Bakers Mecca" having all the products you can image in a setting that is second to none if you like baking. Make time to have lunch and... More

OK, maybe I’m jaded. My husband and I have a quiet reputation for being decent chefs and bakers. All these years we’ve relied upon basic baking pans and sheets from relatively inexpensive stores, and bake with common grocery store ingredients, mixing and blending and adding special bits as we creatively feel is appropriate. King Arthur’s store is in the business... More

Very nice cakes, breads and other baked goods for sale. Special order cakes are a very nice touch - simple to order. Find the gluten free flours and mixes very user friendly and tasty.

King Arthur is a place to enjoy a lunch, buy your daily bread, meet up with friends, get your baking supplies, take some baking lessons. They also give back to the community and help out in many community projects. Around noon there are many little people having lunch and enjoying the assessoblity!

There's a wide variety of products to purchase, and it's fun to explore the shelves. But the cafe area is insane at lunchtime with insufficient seating and long lines. So, I'd recommend avoiding King Arthur at the peak time. However, aside from the mob, you will almost certainly enjoy browsing and bringing home some interesting mixes or kitchen items.

I have visited several times and the store is wonderful -- a bakers paradise !! The sandwiches, soups and desserts in the cafe are top notch and I always love looking at the fancy breads on display in the baking room window.

My wife had heard about the king Arthur flour store from their catalogue, and was excited to try it. After making the trek, I had mixed feelings. The cafe had a large selection, was very fresh, and was ultimately a very good lunch. Very crowded but manageable. I honestly expected the store to be bigger. It was ok. My wife... More

If you desperately need a pan specifically for making scones, or fancy teas, or some obscure type of flour, chances are good that they will have it. Their baking mixes also range from good to excellent (I'm in the habit of stocking up on holiday-themed varieties immediately after the relevant holiday, at which point they become quite reasonably priced).
