This is a nice little local store

Be sure to try their maple creamee, and stroll outside to see a replica of the Vermont State House. There are plenty of gift items and good food.

The store is very cute. Staff is very nice and helpful. The maple creemies are amazing! Highly recommend! You can try four different types of syrup for free. They have a tree trail of all different trees labeled which was neat. There is also an area to learn more about syrup and the process of making it. Very Vermont. Check... More

Maple creemies are soft serve ice cream, in a dish or cone, and Morse Farm serves them up - maple or chocolate or a twist. The maple is to die for and you can add sprinkles or maple sugar dust if you want to go all out. They are also an excellent place to buy all things Vermont - maple... More

This is the best maple cream ice cream! Very plentiful gift shop, something for everyone. Wonderful farm stand in season. Beautiful view to eat your ice cream in a nice Adarondeck lawn chair.

We took the short drive from Montpelier to the Morse Farm and even though it is no longer tourist season they had everything open. You can try different kinds of syrup and decide which kind you like. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This place has all kinds of trinkets for all ages for purchase. The ice cream is... More

The Morse Farm is the oldest Maple Sugar Farm in Vermont. If you're just visiting Vermont, or if you are a local and have out-of-towners visiting, I highly recommend a visit. At first glance, it just appears to be a typical gift shop with lots of local Vermont goodies. But there is a great tour and a lot of history... More

The shop was good with samples of 4 grades of maple syrup to sample. Many local items for sale. But the soft serve ice cream was amazing.

I've been dropping in at the Morse farm since they began as a low key small outfit. They are now relatively big and successful and deserve it. Their prices are competitive and the produce good. Perhaps a few too many things on offer are not really related to Vermont but that's a small quibble. Close to Montpelier it's well worth... More

While visiting Montpelier on a fall foliage road trip, we were encouraged to visit Morse Maple Sugarworks. What a great recommendation. This fourth generation family still harvests maple syrup every February. The history of the farm is fascinating enough, but the technology used today to extrapolate the maple is boggling. The farm not only educates its visitors, it has a... More
