One of the few few sugar houses that still makes the darker syrup which used to be called Grade B. It is now called Grade A Dark and resembles the non-fancy bolder richer syrup that many locals prefer

My wife and I stopped here after visiting the Cabot cheese factory. We found the staff very helpful and even watched sap being boiled into syrup. The highlight of the stop here Id have to say was trying the "Sugar on snow".

My wife and I were recently on a trip to Vermont. We went to cabbot cheese factory and asked about another good place to go before heading home. Amazed from the moment we walked in the door. The lady was very kind and inviting. Didn't want to go out into the cold but allowed us to go view the equipment... More

You will want to purchase many local hand made products, but take a good look at the variety of maple syrups and candies. You can taste several different types of... More

Great sugar house. If you see steam coming out of the stack, stop in and visit. They are happy to show you how it all works. 12 months a year they have the best maple creeme, period. You must stop in and try one.

Late Review - We really enjoyed our visit. Since it was not maple syrup season we were not able to go on the normal tour. That said, they did sit us down to watch the video and they told us about all of the tools and equipment they use to make their maple syrup. Sampling was the best part until... More
