A great early fall day for a short hike. Be sure to climb the fire tower. A little scary and tall, but a breathtaking view of the area.

This is a great hike for families with younger kids (ours are 7 & 8). They enjoyed it and climbing to the top of the fire tower. The park was very clean and although we didn't stay there the camp sites look very nice.
