Decent East Coast Skiing!!!

This resort is decent for a East coast standard... The ski trails are narrow but in good shape. Season 2015/16 is probably the worst!! People are very nice and friendly. The... read more

Just visited again. Love the resort!! Never left disappointed with room , skiing accommodation or snow making ability. Best resort on East Coast. Love it. If not this year will definitely visit next year again. There're enough trails open weather you are double diamond or just green. Give the resort a try.

Skied there Monday Feb 1 and was pleasantly surprised to find some excellent coverage on most trails with plenty of base! The warm weather made for some early spring skiing in my opinion and was ideal for skiing the diamonds and double diamonds as there were no moguls and the snow was carved up a bit. Jackson Gore area was... More

This resort is decent for a East coast standard... The ski trails are narrow but in good shape. Season 2015/16 is probably the worst!! People are very nice and friendly. The Okemo ambassadors and the ski patrol is excellent - they are super helpful and nice. Mountain lodge was over priced for the weekend... I guess they make all their... More

Skied Okemo this week. Have been skiing here over 20 years. They have done away with lift passes and replaced with card which opens gates to enter lift line. The gate close so fast they smacked you in the butt. Wow is this what skiing has come too? Not for me . Screw the skiing experience jack up the bottom... More

Despite an anemic snowfall, the conditions were great and so was the skiing. The Pre loaded cards are a time suck. Spent 45 minutes in line to get a $5 card loaded while I had $600 dollars worth of lift tickets pre paid with a scanner code on my phone. UGH. The info about the card is in very small... More

We spent MLK day here and we were very impressed by the friendly, helpful staff. We need our new skis adjusted and it was done free of charge. The man there also took his time to answer to explain a few things about the skis. The man who sold us the new type of tickets also took his time to... More

We spent Christmas week at Okemo, our first visit there. Unfortunately it was the warmest December in recorded history, with not a single natural snowfall. A couple of days before visiting, I called and they said we could reschedule without any penalty, which was nice of them, but we couldn't reschedule the kids' vacation, so we took a chance. They... One of the best skiing resort on the east coast. It's only 4h drive from NYC. I know Sugarloaf, Jay Peak moght be bigger and better but with extra several hours drive might not be always worth it. Friendly stuff that is always willing to help. Great, fast lift system and relatively long blue and black trails. Great snow making,... More
