Amazing what one man's passion can uncover for the rest of us to appreciate! Bentley lived and worked on his family farm located in the "Snowbelt," where the annual snow fall was about 120 inches. From the time he was a small boy, he was...More

If you're interested the delicate beauty of snowflakes, this is a great exhibit to visit. This is an excellent collection of "Snowflake" Bentley's original photographs. Understanding the conditions under which these photos were taken, makes them even more amazing.

The building outside is a beautiful historic red mill on the river, which is such a charming setting. This is such a cute and walkable little area. Parking was super easy. The whole exhibit took about 30 minutes total to walk through, including a few...More

I loved visiting this tiny museum in the old mill. Bentley's slides, letters, equipment is on display. Super gift shop where you can buy tons of stuff. You can also picnic and walk the trails by the mill

Of interest to the general public, and particularly to those interested in the history of science. All about the man who discovered that no two snowflakes are identical.

Stop in for a quick lesson on the man who discovered no 2 snowflakes are alike. Small museum, and free...check out the crafts from local artists. And don't forget the nature walk along the river.

This museum is not only about Snow Flake Bently, but it is located in one of the many old mills that used to be all along the river. It is neat to see some of the old mill equipment.
