This is our second visit to Grand Isle State Park and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice state park camping experience. First, I think the State of VT has the best state campgrounds, the cleanest, most well maintained. Our last visit about...More

Stayed in the Tamarak lean-to located just feet from the lake. The view was amazing, campsite was large and private. Staff is friendly and helpful; big shout out to Maxwell. Rented kayaks. The quarter-operated showers were hot and have strong water pressure. It was a...More

We've been coming to this campground with our four kids since they were tiny. It is our campground of choice for family reunions and large gatherings. Our favourite sites are the lean-to's facing Lake Champlain. We tend to go on the long May weekend as...More

This is a great place to be with nature! Camping, swimming, hiking, and biking in beautiful Vermont is just very relaxing! Friendly staff. Wi-fi available in a designated area. Clean bathrooms. Clean campsites. Waking up to the sound of birds singing is just really pleasant!

Perhaps my review is biased from having just left a run down and understaffed state campground in New York, but we were very impressed with this site in Vermont. Although no hookups, the bath facilities were clean and the pay showers were hot. Lots of...More

We had a great week camping at Grand Isle State Park. The campground is super clean and quiet at night. Beautiful flowers and a nice waterfront (except remember your beach shoes, no sand just rocks).
