Everyone talks about what an easy hike this is. I hiked the trail up from the parking lot to the top, and took the road down. The trail was fairly steep in places with lots of roots so you needed to watch where you stepped....More

This is a nice, rather easy hike up Mt Philo with rewarding views of the Champlain Valley and Adirondack mountains at the summit. A leisurely stroll up takes about 30-40mins. Go on a sunny day when the views are incredible to Lake Champlain and across...More

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Burlington and it was definitely worth it. The drive up was easy and the views from the top were amazing.

We hiked here today on a beautiful Friday. The leaves were starting to turn. The reward at the top is an amazing view of Lake Champlain, the Champlain Valley, and the Adirondacks. The hike is relatively short for the reward (view) you get at the...More

We wore sneakers on the trail and were fine. Hiking shoes would have been better, but we had no mishaps with our running shoes.
