Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s a small brewery with a good variety of beers. Owner is very strict with COVID rules (little annoying) - turns people away. Offers outdoor seating, which is nice, but no cover. Beer selection is much better than Zero Gravity which is across the street.

We finally found the brewery tucked behind Swish Cleaners a bit out of the Burlington downtown but it was worth it for a great range of beautifully crafted ales. We tried the 2 tasting flights (4 beers for $4) which have us a taste of everything and passed a happy 30 minutes at the beautiful antique bar munching on the complimentary pretzels and chatting to the knowledgable barkeep..
Note that this is NOT a bar so you cannot buy a glass of beer as such but they have growlers to take away. Check out the opening hours first as they vary by day but generally open afternoons and early evenings Thursday to Subday.

This was a small brewery with some really great beer. We had flights and all the beer was delicious. The atmosphere was quaint and we enjoyed our visit. The barista was a bit curt but helpful.

We visited a few of the downtown breweries and Queen City was by far the best. The exterior is a bit off putting but once you enter you tempted to stay and enjoy all their offerings. As mentioned, we visited a few local breweries over the course of the day and Queen had the best selection. We were very fortunate to have the owner/ brewer master at the bar with us when we visited!

I've been here many times and highly recommend it as a must in a city of brewpubs (Burlington, VT). last weekend was their 2nd anniversary celebration, featuring new brews plus free burgers and dogs. The burgers came from cattle that had been fed with the brewing by-products. Great brews any time and friendly people.

A fantastic selection of German and Scottish inspired brews. The "menu" gave informative information on each beer, making your selection easy (or not, as the case may be). As an added treat, the day we stopped in one of the owners was sitting at the bar next to me. We talked about his craft and he seemed to appreciate my take on his brews. Quite a surprise and enjoyable.

Beer was very smooth, best by far on my trip. Pretzels were nice and warm. Alot of beers on tap. Flight was good price and staff was friendly.

I loved every beer that I tried at this place. You can do a tasting of 4 or 5 beers which is what we did. I had a hard time picking one as they were all quite good but the dunkelweisen was my favorite. This is not an IPA place though- it is more of a german ale place. Service was great. The interior is very nice. They have a very limited menu that is primarily hot dogs or chips. Bowls of pretzels are free :) . I would definitely recommend going there. It is on my list of places to revisit. Also, Zero Gravity is immediately across the street from them and they are only about half a mile from Switchback brewery so you can visit them all and make a day of it.

Just out driving around and say the sign, decided to go in and check it out. It was worth the stop. They have a small but unique place. There is a good number of craft beers to be tried. I liked the ones I tried. They also had a few snack items , that were not expensive at all. I am going back someday when I have more time.

Queen City Brewery is your best choice when you are searching for a malty German beer. The dunkel is outstanding. The steinbier is tasty and a truly unique beer. Many other seasonal brews are memorable as well. Queen City understands that brewing a superior beer is not all about IPA's and I rate them as my top local brewery.

Hi all,
Is QCB dog-friendly in the winter, too? Can well-behaved, leashed dogs, come inside?
