This park is so well maintained! The kids play structure was awesome, the snack bar was great and the lake itself was warm and crystal clear waters. We had a beautiful day!

Plenty of lifeguards, great sand and we love the view of the mountains across the lake. Parking is 8$ per car, but we park at the high school about a quarter of a mile away (yeah, I'm cheap!). There have been times where the beach...More

The beach was clean and vast. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice restrooms and snack bar available. There were nice shady grassed areas to relax in as well as the sandy beach. There were plenty of lifeguards posted.

North Beach is unfortunately right down from the waste water plant, and it's often closed. Check to be sure it has a high water quality before you go. The beach itself is nice, and the bath house and snack bar are very nice for public...More

I recall seeing people carrying fishing gear, but don't recall seeing people fishing. I assume there has to be, but can't say for certain.

Yes and no. My understanding is that dogs can be in the grassy park behind the sand but not on the beach and definately not in the water. I saw the lifeguards activity enforcong this.
