Community boathouse is a great place to visit. On the water you can catch the Ethan Allen for a water tour, catch the ferry, or just sit and enjoy the waterfront. There are rest room accomodations in the boathouse, also the bike and walking trails...More

Great place for parties, Splash at the Boathouse for a quick bite or dinner, right on the waterfront. Dance and enjoy evening summer breezes off Lake Champlain. Check to see if it's open because bad weather can close it.

Beautiful spot on the shore of lake Champlain .Nice view of the lake ,jetties, lighthouses, and you can even watch the ferry come and go .Lots of activity around here including walking paths and bike paths while looking across lake at the Adirondack mountains in New York.

There is always so much happening around the Burlington Community Boathouse. It has so much life in the area, between the boaters, sightseers and special events. The view of the Adirondack mountains across the lake is priceless.

Even if you don't own a boat, you can spend time gazing at the lake and the beautiful Adirondacks and get a snack at the snack bar. OR have a beverage or meal at Splash, the restuarant located at the boathouse

Cold and nippy but bright and invigorating for a walk down from Battery Park the back way to the Waterfront. Heard an early morning bugle call from the Coast Guard buildings. Some folks were walking dogs. The waterfront park and the boathouse were glistening with...More

the lake is really beautiful when the sun comes down. I had cuisine on the boat to watch the sun came down and it was a impressive trip.

Always love it. Took off in a small boat for NY state this July. Small marina, but accessible. Dining and drinking available. Frankly Burlington deserves a larger, more upscale water front, but it wasn't meant to be so I accept this alternative. Lake Champlain is...More

Can't answer all of your questions but I do know there are tables to sit at and to the best of my knowledge no prohibition against bringing a picnic of your own. I recall seeing people fishing so I do not believe there is a... More
