My husband and I got on the trail at the College street entrance. We biked for 10 miles to the bike ferry. It was a little busy that day so we had to wait for two ferry's. We then biked all around Grand Isle. Stopped...More

You hear about “bike friendly” areas, but this is a “bike promoted” area. The Champlain bike way is spectacular, especially the causeway and bike ferry. No need for a lot of verbiage. This should be the next stop for you and your bikes. You will...More

The bike path is fully paved and dedicated to cyclists, so any pedestrians on it are mindful of bikes, which is nice. It’s an easy, relaxing few miles ride from the South end of town all the way to North Beach. Most of the path...More

A great place to walk, rollerblade, bicycle. Be prepared for it to be crowded, some that will have attitudes. At the water front, get a cree-mee and sit and watch the lake go by, ferry go in and out, or just people watch. The museum...More

Our bike path is amazing, , beautiful, miles long and offers a great view of our lake and the Adirondacks. U can bike around town or go many miles up into our Champlain Islands which people travel from overseas to summer on. Glorious!

I use the bike path multiple times a week. Always meet lots of friendly people. Miles of beautiful views, access to beaches and parks. Mostly in excellent condition and easy running, biking, or walking. Over 13 miles each way.

If you enjoy being outdoors: to cycle, walk or jog...you will greatly enjoy the Burlington bike path that leads to the Colchester Causeway! You can view the Adirondacks on one side and Vermont Green Mountains on the other!

The majority of the path is either fine crushed stone or paved. The 3+ miles from the Airport Parking Lot area out along the Causeway to the Bike Ferry is a little coarser stone and in some areas can be a little daunting if you...More

Yes. It would be best to call the local bike shops for availability: Local Motion and Burlington Segways are 2 shops.

I believe it is approximately 15 miles from end to end. You can, however, pick it up in multiple spots to make it longer or shorter.
