My wife and I live in Burlington. So we take this wonderful resource for granted. But this weekend - the second weekend after Labor Day to ride ur twice. We rode from the Boathouse at the foot of College Street past the Winooski River bridge....More

Rode bikes out to the causeway and back on an unusually hot day and was still a good experience as the breeze from the lake cooled us down. Would keep this in mind for spring or fall trip and be sure to bring a jacket.

The perfect way to spend a summer day! Not too crowded and the people we did encounter were pleasant and respectful. Cycling with water on both sides of the trail was heavenly and seeing boaters, birds, and bicyclists all out enjoying the summer was heart...More

The bike shop right by the ferry terminal was fabulous. The trail is absolutely beautiful and not too difficult. Pack a snack/lunch & plenty of water because there is not much along the way!

We loved the Burlington Bikeway. We are planning on returning either this fall or later spring with our kids and grandkids for the weekend. Points of interest, workout areas for those that may loose interest along the way and gorgeous views of Lake Champlain. Everyone...More

The Burlington Bike Path is a good way to burn off all of the calories you will be consuming at the various excellent coffee shops, bars, restaurants and other eateries in Burlington. If it is hot, the nice breeze along the lake will be refreshing....More

Great ride. Started in port Kent ny at ferry. Rode to ferry in Plattsburgh ny. Then ferry to north hero island VT. Then bike ferry to north hero VT. 5en rode to Burlington (very overrated & watch your bike, very sketchy area) then ferry back...More

Yes. It would be best to call the local bike shops for availability: Local Motion and Burlington Segways are 2 shops.

I believe it is approximately 15 miles from end to end. You can, however, pick it up in multiple spots to make it longer or shorter.

Yes there are a couple places within a couple of blocks of Waterfront Park. North Star Sports and Local Motion.
