Converted from the Central Vermont Railway to a bike path in the 1970s, this easy trail crosses through beaches and parks and offers great views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and the city.

Whenever we visit Burlington, we try to find time to walk this path because it it friendly to both walkers and bikers. The view is spectacular with benches and swings for stopping to enjoy watching the boats and birds on the lake.

This is a nice way to spend a day near the lake. The path is about 8 miles long and fairly flat. There are generally good views of the lake. Be sure to ride out to the causeway, which is accessible at Causeway Park.

Well paved and sweet views of Lake Champlain. Safe and easy ride. When we went in Sept. they re-routed us because of work being done on the path so we turned around to avoid street traffic. Too bad but still a beautiful ride.

We went hiking along this path on our way to Leddy Park. I don't get on paths like this often, but compared to the path along the Mohawk River in the Latham and Niskayuna area of New York it doesn't even come close. Yes, it...More

We rode around 6 miles round trip. Stopped along the way for pictures. We only spent about an hour there but it was worth it.

We drove up from Mt. Equinox. After checking in to our hotel we immediately went out to the bike path and walked to stretch our legs. It was pretty busy with walkers, bikers and joggers. The weather was perfect.

This was one of my favorite activities in Burlington. The bike trail goes through Lake Champlain, so the views are incredible, and was not too crowded. We also took the ferry to the other side (potentially not worth it however, unless you feel adventurous) and...More

We stayed at a cottage on Lake Champlain. The Bike Path was two minutes away and took us straight down to Burlington's Waterfront Park. Great ride! Very popular with locals and tourists!

A varied bike ride along Lake Champlain over a dedicated bike path; no other traffic other than other bikers and some pedestrians. Rent a bike in Burlington. Quite popular with the locals
