What a great way to celebrate independence day! The Burlington Fireworks display, viewed from Oakledge Park were a fun and relaxing way to celebrate. The sunset was lovely, as well.

We love coming to Oak Ledge to stroll and get some exercise There are several well maintained tennis courts, a swimming beach, a tree house to visit, and lots of picnic space. The lawns, and the entire park are beautiful..

We found the Oakledge Park while looking for the Earth Clock Site. Very interesting! Nice little park, quiet and great view on Burlington City and Champlain Lake. Locals were celebrating birthday parties and having a nice Bbq near the water.

This is a park full of surprises! A treehouse, an earth clock, bike trails, the sheltered beach with beautiful sunsets... see if you can find them all... well worth it. Cycle there on the bike trail for extra fun!

The park had a small beach with pretty walking path that led to an earth clock at one end and a very cool tree house at the other.

Up on Spear Street. Usually very quiet -- lovely place to watch the sunset over the lake! Fewer people than at the waterfront.

Great place for kids and family (even a dog park). Children's playground, tennis courts, huge tree house, great for picnics, walking trails or just lounging on the different beaches accessible to all. I believe there is an $8.00 per car fee.

You can park on Flynn Ave - the road that leads into Oakledge if you get there early - or get lucky later.
