My friend and I enjoyed this relaxing, clean, and upscale outdoor shopping area. There is something for everyone here. You can spend half of the day browsing the stores or sitting and people watching. Lots of good food choices. Will return.

Justing arriving in the area we decided to drive into town and check out the Church Street Marketplace. We were happy to see that we could walk the street with our dog. Lots to see and do. Art, music, food and goods!

Mostly dining in the streets and some sidewalk sales but not a lot going on. Loved the mural of famous people from Vermont. Well done and informative

While there are a lot of stores, the biggest number are high end clothing stores. Everything is on the expensive side. There are a number of good restaurants and it is a very nice area.

Any suggestions on what to do in Burlington on a Monday in September? Sounds like downtown might be pretty dead. Am thinking about renting a bike or walking along the lake, but what if the weather is not so good? Ideas?

I would try Queen City Brewery, Zero Gravity and Switchback. Two on Pine Street and the other on Flynn Ave. My husband takes our dog for a walk and a pint in good weather.
