The journey to this bridge will take you through Guilford Centre, up and over Stage Road, past amazing meadows and reward. I recommend parking and walking north or south on Green River Road to experience the sound of the river...

One of my goals is to see all 50 states. I wanted to find something historic to see in Vermont. The state is very rural and pretty overall with the mountains and the streams. The covered bridge is pretty but there really is not much...More

Had no idea about 'covered bridges' - but made an effort to seek them out and check them out. Enjoyed seeing them on their level of being so picturesque.

For anyone "short" on time and "long" on "must see' attractions, this beautifully preserved covered bridge is the perfect one to see because it is conveniently located on Rt 9 (South Side) in Brattleboro. Bridge your camera!

I'm not sure why any one would say this bridge is hard to find. I happened to notice it when I stopped in at the Vermont Country Store on Route 9. I was amazed at the solid construction and unique lattice carpentry. There is an...More

I was on my way to a diner when I passed this bridge and had to stop. This is textbook rural Vermont and yes so close to a city. If you can find it, your hunt will be rewarded. I spent about 20 minutes just...More

We are covered bridge aficionados and photographers, and we have been to almost all of the bridges in NH. Now we're starting to see the bridges in VT. This is a lovely bridge. There are several areas to take photos. You can shoot from both...More
