Tom and his staff are excellent. I was amazed by how the owner of the shop was so involved in all the interactions. He personally fit me for my boots and took the time to explain what I needed. No pressure just total expertise. The shop has everything from rentals to state of the Art new equipment and gear. We drive up late on a Friday night and he even called a local eatery about to close to secure us a reservation. A MUST stop is you are skiing in the Bromley Stratton area!

After an exhaustive search for new ski boots that fit my big and wide feet, and that were not crazy neon colors like a 15 year-old would want, I found a nice pair of brad new Salomon boots at the Norse House. I was initially fitted by Ben, who was great. After skiing in the new boots for the next 2-days they were feeling very uncomfortable and tight. Custom fitted (heated and molded) ski boots are tricky things. I went back and saw Tom, I believe the owner, and he worked with me and listened very attentively and patiently and discussed the break-in period, how to better get in and out of the boot. After trying them a bit longer, still too tight around the ankles and hard to get on and off. I went back and saw Tom again. He again worked diligently to solve the issue, and put in orthotics and remolded. Will try again. I feel the customer service has been fantastic and they want me to be happy and comfortable. The 4/5 will become a 5/5 hopefully, when the boots are confirmed to be comfortable.

This will be my first and last time renting a snowboard at norse house ski and sport. I have rented many many snowboards before. The customer service here was non existent(for me at least) . The workers were very evasive towards me, I did not understand why ( I hope it's not because I was the only asian there). Two customers who came in after me were attended before me, I was standing and making direct eye contact to the worker For a solid 15 minutes, Who then i find out his nAme is Bill. Nevertheless I did not think anything of it at the time. when I was returning the board at the end of the day, Bill attended to me faster then I could say HI! How ironic! Then a few seconds later Bill my "helper" said your board is severely damaged, who then goes on making belittling comments, such as were you snowboarding in the forest, you definitely should not snowboard again. I was bewildered, by his senseless comments with his straight face and beady eyes. I asked him to show me the damages, and he pointed to the tiny skinny scratches that looked like a cat made... then he went ahead and charged my card without my permission, or any justification why its being charged for such a tiny scratch. ALL in ALL if YOU decide to rent here in general be sure to take a before and after pic!! So this does not happen to you. Once again thanks Bill, for the horrible service you have provided me.

Awful experience here. Would not recommend supporting such a condescending and rude business. Will not be returning next season. Gave one star because my skis were fine. I really should take away the star because they don't rent helmets, which is the most ridiculous thing considering every other ski shop finds a way to do it.
