Interesting museum and worth a stop. Loved the Covered Bridge Museum and the painted moose in the grounds.

You'll be greeted by 3 artistic renderings of a moose. Inside is a covered bridge museum - not terribly interesting, but a short video makes up for it. Be sure to watch. There is also a gallery of native American artwork - surprisingly good. The cost is $8.00, $6.00 for seniors. If you are in the neighborhood, it is worth... More

We have been to this gallery twice, and will definitely go again. It has an absolutely amazing collection of wildlife art, as well as a world-class collection of art by and about Native Americans. Both collections have some of the best pieces we've seen anywhere, especially a gallery with wood carvings of birds that you will swear are real. It... More

Great building and location with some whimsical statues on the ground. Most of the art is for sale, so it seems strange to have to pay to get in. There is a covered-bridge museum in the building which was more interesting that I would have thought--especially the video. Not a friendly feeling place.

We were not taken upon arrival at this center HOWEVER upon entering the building and paying, what we considered a very fair admission, only $8.00 per person we were immediately immersed by the galleries which were well lit and the artwork that was beautifully displayed. The permanent exhibit of Native American art is exceptional as were the woodland paintings. Not... More

This art gallery is adjacent to the Covered Bridge Museum just off Vermont Route 9. We found the wood carving sculptures of birds on the first floor near the entrance to the Covered Bridge Museum quite interesting. The Elf Owl was just adorable. My friend fell in love with it. We thought the exhibit titled “Women” showed a variety of... More

We found this location on a recent trip to western Vermont. The museum has a great collection of Native American art and sculptures. There is also a covered bridge museum which is part of this location. I've travelled to the western U.S. and seen some Native America art collections in those regions. This collection of Native American art is equal... More

We only had time for one more museum and I am so glad we picked this one. The Covered Bridge museum is worth it by itself, but the art portion is spectacular as well. Nice gift shop too.

A great place to stop for a few hours. Very active place with various art shows and competitions coming and going. Check their website to see what is there. Staff is great and will stop to talk to you about the art. It is one of our regular stops when we are in the area.
