They have special activities, such as the Battle of Bennington re-enactment in August which is great for kids. You can visit the Monument area for free but pay admission to go up in the elevator if you wish.

I knew nothing about the Bennington Battle and found the site interesting and informative. The staff were friendly and the views from the observation area are pretty.

This was a great find and very cute. I also love it in October. There isn't much parking and it is pretty much a big circle, but certainly nice to see.

Monument was easy to find, only $5 to take the elevator inside the monument to a higher level. Park Service guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the battle and the grounds. There was no hurry to exit the monument. Two thumbs up!

$5 to see this beautiful monument went up half way by elevator, the guy running the elevator gave us some interesting history. I am glad that we rode there with our motorcycles and stopped to check it out.
