The memorial is out of the way, on the west side of Highway 18 just this side of Enterprise. It recounts some of the history of the early settlers. If you have not been there, go.

This little out of the way monument tells a very interesting piece of history. Very sad story but told in a nice way. Definitely worth the short drive if you like little known history.

We didn't realize we were right there where this beautiful memorial was, so this was a bonus for us!! For a sobering event, this was ver tastefully done. Beautiful!

sad that this even had to happen but a nice drive and a bit of history set up in a nice monument. Don't trust the GPS on your phone to know where you're supposed to be going, just follow the signs .
