This is an amazingly beautiful area, easy to drive to and close to Park City. Even in July there are patches of snow up higher that you can see. We did not do any hiking but it's a great drive up.

In the summer, this road is a great little drive that yields some wonderful views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. It's so interesting how the scenery changes from one valley to the next, and there is plenty of variety. Definitely worth a drive!

Great drive, even in a June snow storm. The road leads down to Solitude and Brighton Ski areas. The highlight was a hike around Silver Lake.

Made the drive to the pass today from Park City. Very scenic at the lookout. Drove on to Brighton. There are several good hikes at the nature center. The drove thru Cottonwood canyon. Very amazing rock formations

Yes. Typically, Guardsman Pass is open by the first part of June. You will be fine. We did have about 150% over normal snowpack this Winter, which is great for skiiers and provides significant water runoff for our... More
