I love the Canyons. The mountain is great for any level skier and the staff is so nice and courteous. The place is pretty pricey if you want food or beverages.

The prices for lift passes and ski rentals have gone way up under Vail Resorts ownership. It feels like they are gouging you, and I don't see any major improvemeets on the mountain. And the late March skiing was terrible with bare spots in the...More

Had a blast skiing here! We went to Park City Mountain Resort several days ago, which was nice, but I think this place blows them away. Now both resorts are now owned by the same company and they will be connected soon with a ski...More

so many different options for skill levels. Restaurants all over the resort that offer great food and drinks. My only complaint is that there is not enough snow.... obviously not their fault.

Lots of intermediate terrain. Owned by Vail Resorts, so an Epic pass is good at Canyons and Park City. Crowded during spring break.

Not enough snow makers. Some runs were a little too short. Too bad some runs were closed due to fast melting snow.

We've been coming to some version of this resort since 1985 when it was Park West, then Wolf Mountain and now The Canyons. Of course, the mass infusion of $$ has helped the resort tremendously though it is pricey. Full price lift tickets are $112...More

There is a NASTAR on the PC side of the mountain. There are also a series of races throughout the ski season for different ages. Check with the mountain on the schedule.

Small market in the base of the west gate for essentials. 7-11 at the turn to the main road. Smiths, Walmart (its the nicest one I've been too and has a good food section) & Whole Foods a couple of miles away.

There are several shuttles you can get to take you to Westgate. I would ask the concierge there for a recommendation. We have done this. Most of the developments at Canyons have shuttles that will take you into downtown... More
