We were on a Caravan Tour of the Monument Valley that included a stop at the Goulding's Stagecoach Restaurant and Trading Post. We had been to Souvenir Shops all along our trip. Obviously every attraction on the tour has a Souvenir Shop associated with it....More

Inside the Goulding's Lodge hotel area, between the Gift Shop and the Restaurant. So easy to overlook, but that would be a shame not to spend 15-20 minutes in this little museum/reenactment of the original life they had there. A nice little quiet moment.

Nice little museum about history of Goulding family and movies made in Monument Valley . It’s free and worth the time to stop and visit it .

It's mostly a testament to Hollywood. Goulding went there to promote the Valley and probably succeeded beyond his dreams. There are pictures of the movies shot here and other like memorability. But beyond that, not too much.

This was a fun little museum to visit, especially if you are a John Wayne, John Ford fan. Worth a stop

This is a very interesting, free museum that details all the Westerns made in Monument valley and the couple who owned the trading post/ motel that all the actors stayed in. Worth a stop after seeing monument Valley.

Mostly focuses on movies made in Monument Valley whereas I was expecting much more about Navajo life, history and culture.

We've driven by here so many times and never stopped. Finally we decided to take the 1 mile (paved) detour to check out it. My only disappointment is we'd not done it sooner! What a cool place, and such fascinating history about the Gouldings and...More

This museum was the actual home of the Goulding's when they lived in Monument Valley. The bottom floor has exhibits, crafts and photos during the time while the upper floor is furnished almost like the Goulding's still lived there. Very interesting.
