We enjoyed stopping here and got some good photos, but there are lots of people who seem willing to risk their lived to get the shot in the middle of the road. We had to wait ages while some people took about 20 different pictures...More

We drove through here on the way to Valley of the Gods. There had to be at least a dozen cars on either side of the road. Quite a few of the people were in the middle of the highway trying to get “the shot”...More

An overwhelming spot for most of the visitors. From my point of view it’s more impressive to drive through the monument valley.

You’ll know it when you see it. The scene from Forrest Gump will immediately enter your mind. There are several pull offs to stop and get pictures. Many will dodge traffic to get the perfect picture. Fun stop, and won’t take much time.

Difficult to capture the view you wish to because many people are also stopped and the clear view you wish for is near on impossible or you are very lucky. A fantastic view though of a magical place.

We traveled the road many times and it's a hazard to walk into the middle of the road to get your Gump picture. That being said, we did it too. It's worth 5 minutes if you get there when it's not busy. Otherwise, getting your...More

Having left Monument Valley, we turned right onto route 163 and proceeded north west for about 15 miles. The precise location was proving a little difficult to find as we thought we had gone far enough, but as we continued up the road we came...More

First off, great photo op. Many safe pull outs. The bigger entertainment is all the nut jobs taking pics with their families in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, in pursuit of proving they are way dumber than Forest; either that or the family section of...More

This location is not marked along the highway but there is a souvenir stand near the general location with parking. Lots of turnouts line this stretch of road, all with beautiful vistas. Watch out for tourists who stand in the roadway to get a photo...More

Not sure what other people saw or were complaining about. Maybe it's the time of day I arrived. Got here at 7PM in early August. Knew it was near mile marker 13. I pulled off and found the Forrest Gump Point sign. Then I noticed...More

While there, I can also support that locals do not wait for tourists. The best way to get aw some shots is to 1) get your camera set up and 2) get someone to spot for you. It’s worth having time and patience it’s beautiful

Hi. We arrived on Friday at around 11-12 midday. Traffic was very light and only had to wait a few minutes to get a clear shot of the road. Their was only one other couple there, enjoy.
