This is a park for serious hikers or ATVers. Good for boaters. No shade even at the picnic tables. Roads are rough. Vistas are stunning.

This was a nice find , we were looking for a quite place to just hang out for a while . we went to the Sand Hollow park but it had a $10 entrance fee and we knew we wasn't going to spend the day...More

Enjoyed the park, wish there was more to do. Picked this lake, because the other that was suggested had a parasite and we're told not to go in the water by the park rangers!!

I now understand why this town is called Hurricane! But even with the winds we needed to get out and stretch our legs after a lot of driving. Quail Creek State Park is beautiful in the winter (so it must be amazing in the summer)....More
