Mostly calm still water great for kayaking. Nice little campground which is undergoing some upgrades and renovations. The showers will be a good thing when finished.

We stayed at the campground for three nights and we loved it. Only drawback is if you have a long tow behind spots are not big enough and leveling is difficult.

Both this and the neighboring reservoir are top notch. Easy to find and within a short drive from both a fuel station and walmart on the local highway. Perhaps a five minute drive.

Nice little reservoir. Gets very crowded on a Saturday in June, so a little choppy for kayaking. No dogs allowed.

Rocky beach, but clear, warm water to play in by the picnic tables and shade. No swimmers itch here, like Sand Hollow and way less crowded. We enjoyed renting paddle boards from Dig Paddle Sports and exploring the lake. Great for families.

Beautiful, fairly small, but full of nice bass and trout in a gorgeous setting. Year round enjoyment for the whole family. Quieter than nearby Sand Hollow Reservoir but plenty of perks to make up for it. Many unusual birds frequent the area like cormorants, eagles,...More

Call DIG Paddle at Quail Creek - not sure they rent boats, but they will know who you can rent from.
