After hearing about Powder mountain from several relatives we finally gave it a shot on our last vacation day. Boy do we wish we had gone sooner. What a beautiful ski resort. The groomed trails were fantastic, the scenery amazing the overall experience was over the top. While the service at the lodge was sub-par at best I'm not there... More

My prayer is that PowMow remain the gem overlooked by the haute; I must state that this mountain is very special in a good way. Every staff member that I spoke with, and it was many, were of great attitude and incredibly helpful. The terrain is challenging with spectacular views. My greatest concern is that development destroy this gem and... More

Pros: - Laid back atmosphere - Very competitively priced lift tickets - Decent bar, beer and food at better prices than Deer Valley and Park City - Tons of trails including plenty of greens and blues for intermediates. Spend a half of a day over at Mary's Bowl; We had a fun time exploring another side of the mountain. We... More

Huge resort - with ZERO frills but that gives it its charm. Not too far from Snowbasin - another favorite. Amazing, long runs with all kinds of backcountry variety the daredevils will love. Absolutely no crowds makes this a must. Don't expect fancy lodges and fine dining. The "main lodge" looks like it was built in the 60's or 70's... More

Powder mountain is the best value is skiing in the USA that I've seen. Lift tickets at $79 and basic ski rentals at $26m compared to $99&$45 at snow basin, $132 & $40 at park city, $135 & 62 at northstar (lake Tahoe), $130 & $30 at Jackson hole and $179 & $57 at Vail!! this is an old school... Family night skiing was Awesome! It was super cold, but the bitter cold was erased by the tremendous good time we all had. The eatery - "Lucky Pizza" had good pizza and delicious bread sticks, which made for a good ending to our Powder Mtn experience.

We live in Park City but have been visiting Powder Mountain for 6 years now. So on Christmas Day, my husband surprised me with tickets for PM the next day (12/26). Very exciting. The snow was amazing and anyone who loves powder skiing would have been in heaven. The runs are quite long and there's great terrain. We were told... More

The resort is nice, we was up-graded to a two bedroom unit, there was only 2 of us, but it was nice. You will not get internet or any phone service in the units. You have to go to the community room for any service. The lady that works the front desk,in the evening, was very helpful by telling us... More

Powder Mountain is Utah's best kept ski resort secret. If you want to have the best time, bribe a local to take you and show you where the most epic runs in the west are located. This isn't your typical fancy resort -- you want the best runs, you gotta earn them by hiking! And trust me when I say... More
