The Heber City valley is gorgeous overlooking the Timpanogos Mountains. Deer Creek has great trout, walleye, and perch fishing. Dock of the Bay resort has rental boats, wave runners, wake boards, paddle boards, etc. They have everything you need to have a wonderful time on...More

We found Deer Creek State Park, UT online and it has full hook ups for campers. Beautiful scenery and close to other spots of interest like Strawberry Reservoir. A bargain to be out in nature.

We didn't have a chance to see much of the park, so this review only pertains to the camping experience. The full hookup sites in Chokecherry were really pretty nice. They are right in the open in the sage brush; however, the park has erected...More

This little park is always jam-packed with cars. There is something for everyone... picnic tables, swimming, paddleboarding, boaring, water skiing...

We drove by and stopped few times for photograph and small snacks. Probably during the summer hot days there a lot of people enjoying water activities but as first week of April nobody was around.

This is a great little lake with rentals available for adding to your adventure. Parking and day use is easy access. It's not too cold, even in Oct. folks were still paddle boarding and sailing.

Just drive around this lake and enjoy the breathtaking views. Pull off to take photos. It costs $10 to drive down to the boat ramp but if you tell them at the gate you are just taking pictures they will give you a 20 min...More

Deer Creek is a good reservoir. It has three parks along the shores, each nice. The lake itself is usually quite calm in the morning, a little rougher in the afternoon. Good for boating, fishing, kayaking and sail boarding.

The first thing you need to know is that the beaches are very rocky so probably not the place for older children. Also not the place if you are a serious swimmer as there seemed to be no control over the boat area. Pleasant enough...More
