Decided to take the scenic drive from Grand Teton National park though the Targhee National Forest then along Bear Lake then through Logan Canyon on the way to Salt Lake City. Was very glad I did! The scenery was well worth the little bit of...More

Fantastic views of Bear Lake from the Visitors Centre, however the north and south ends of the lake are out of view due to its length. The drive through the Logan Canyon and the Cache Valley is worth the drive.

Was really disappointed there was very few places to actually get to the beach. The place the ranch sent us was a long walk and was only a small area on the beach.

We rented a pontoon boat at Bear Lake State Park at Rendezvous Beach rentals. It was a fun activity with friends to be out on the lake. However, the renters gave us lots of instructions and threatened a double one hour charge if we were...More

We often travel up to Bear Lake in the summer to spend a day on Rendevous Beach. We rent wave runners and bring beach toys, canopy, and camp chairs with a cooler full of sandwiches and fruit. Its always a fun place to go!

It was a hot day and we decided to stop here alongside the lake and get some of the breeze blowing in. The locals and tourists were enjoying their picnics and we really loved our Raspberry ice-cream. It was very refreshing. Try it.

We stayed at KOA Garden city. Lots of shade and activities but wouldn't say beauty. It was very clean and well kept and convenient to the city.

We saw dogs on the beach on the south end of the lake but they are not allowed on North Beach In the state park.
