If you are coming from Bryce Canyon, I wouldn’t bother to stop. The rock formations were interesting, but it was a long trip down a bumpy, gravel road for about 10 miles.

The road to reach Devil's Garden is totally passable but very much a washboard for almost the entire 10 miles. Worthwhile trip though if your car is up to it. Incredibly interesting rock formations. Hint - check with the visitor's center for Escalante, just west...More

Really didn't know what to expect from this trip, I just wanted to see ARCHES! I got to see Arches, and so much more, you can hike longer or just a short turn around, very nice trip.

This is a 'make your own trail' kinda walk. Everywhere you turn there are different outcrops, different shapes, many paths, many footprints to follow. Amazing scenery for 360º.

We were less enthusiastic about some sort of biting insect that attacked us while we were taking pictures. But hey, it's nature. That's what happens.

This is by far much more easily accessible and interesting. Many wonderfully shaped hoodoos, a photographers delight. two picnic tables at entrance, one of them in the shade.

If you are on the road stop here. It’s a really nice place to get a. Real from the rough road. There a picnic tables and stones to climb on it. I would say a fun place for kids.

One of our favorite kid hikes. You could wonder all day through the garden. All kind of turns and twists and cool places to discover

I think it is. I do not recall seeing any signs saying no. It is good to check the website. Let me say this: I have never seen a BLM ranger out in the monument; only at their ranger station/visitor center at the edge of... More
