I've been here probably two dozen times over the years and I appreciate how well it is preserved since it's very popular due to location. It's visually impressive and comparatively safe for young children to explore. Restrooms but no other facilities.

During our trip, we visited both Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. I loved both of them, but Devils Garden was my favorite part of our trip. BE WARNED! The trek down to the garden is about 13 miles on a VERY bumpy dirt road. High-clearance...More

Very cool place, tough to get to on 12 miles of rugged road. How does this place come to be? The Devil only knows....beautiful place.

You definitely shouldn't go here. It sucks... Who am I kidding, this place can get crowded but damn is it worth it. The washboard dirt road will definitely challenge your patience, but Devils Garden is a special spot that needs to be seen to be...More

This is a great spot to stop along the Hole and the Rock road. This is really not a destination in its self due to the fact you have to drive 12 miles down a dirt road which is washboard and rough in some places....More

Devil's garden is one of those places you should inquire about the road before attempting the drive. When it's wet, this road may be impassable. I would just ask about the condition of the road at one of visitor centers (there's one at Escalante and...More

Okay maybe you went to Bryce and are hoo doo'd out but this is a great little stop if you are exploring Hole in the Rock road out of Escalante. There are bathrooms and picnic tables.

The place itself is very interested. The hodoos here look very different from Bryce. However you have to go on an awful dirt for some 13 miles to get there. If you don't have an ATV or at least an SUV, be prepared for a...More

On the Hole in the Rock road you can wander round for ages and admire the various rock formations. So unusual to see. Was very hot when we went in August so take plenty of water.
