It's a nice little park area, beautiful crystal clear water river with a swimming area. I was thinking it was something more than that. It was very peaceful and quite area for a nice little stroll. I am sure in the summer time it would be quite different and crazy.

Visited whilst on a weeks vacation for the COTA F1. Great location but it was just an shame that it was closed for swimming. The water was crystal clear and it looked so inviting. Temperatures still in the mid eighties in late October and a dip in the cool waters would have been welcome.

Still hot in Texas when we went but the swimming hole was closed. Was beautiful. Nice outdoor space but small. People stated their were walking trails on here but we didn't find them. We were hoping to go swimming in the off season as heard this was very busy in the summer. There are some parks open in sept and... More

I've been going to blue hole since the 70s when it was dirt parking and a swimming spot. I was concerned when it was turned into a park but it is so much better this way. There is a large lawn to put out chairs or towels . The hole is still pretty and very cold! There are restroom facilities... More

Spend the day hanging out with a WHOLE LOT of other people while imagining what it would be like to be a kid again with no cares. Just playing in the creek, laying in the sun, without a care in the world. It's always crowded in the summer but the rest of the year it's not so full. When Hamilton... More

The swimming was closed but we didn't come for that, we just wanted to check out and take our dogs for a walk which they are not allowed in the area at blue hole only the trails. It's a great park!

Now a city park. There's an admission fee during the summer, when swimming is allowed, but it's free most of the year. Beautiful, clear water under the cypress tress with a large green, grassy area for lounging.

Wow, we really loved the day we spent at the Blue Hole! Gorgeous blue water. A real unique place. The kids had a blast on the rope swing and even old Mom jumped off! Good old fashioned fun on a warm August day. Many people brought picnic lunches, but I hadn't thought of this! The admission fee must pay to... More

After going to Jacob's Well and having to find out right then and there that you need reservations we went ahead and opted for our second option. Needless to say this is what we were looking for all along. This place is quite like no other swimming hole in the area. It is full of trees that provide shade at... More

A very nice park. Very well kept up. There are stone tables and benches to sit on to one side of the park. Bathrooms and changing rooms. There are docks to dive from and a tree swings. The water is very refreshing but cold! Once your in though it's not so bad. I loved how clear the water is. The... More
