Clark Gardens Botanical Park welcomes visitors all year long. The breathtaking 35 acre oasis awakens the senses, stirs the spirit and relaxes the mind. From the first spring blossoms to the colorful fall and into the stillness of winter there is a sense of magic. Wheelchair accessible pathways wind through lavish ribbons of color and fragrance. Waterfalls sparkle in the sunlight splashing down to ponds and lakes where black and white swans, along with other waterfowl, glide in the shimmering waters. You may see peacocks strutting, or get a glimpse of blue herons or great egrets swooping down, their huge wingspans casting shadows over the lakes.

My husband and I live in Dallas and had been talking about bringing his Mother here for years - she lives in Mineral Wells and we never make enough time to walk the gardens whenever we come to town to visit her. Well, a few weekends ago, we made time as a surprise for Mother's Day and made a "day"... More

We did a spur of the moment visit after church and I had never seen so many Iris in my life! My only regret was that we did not have more time. If you adore flowers, would plan on at least a half day to browse.

We went there with friends and I'd never been there before. It was wonderful! It would be a great place for a wedding or any type of outdoor event. The plants are beautiful and the grounds are very well kept! Very impressed and will go again.

Fun outing and definitely worth a drive. Beautiful grounds, fun for children but would be a lovely daytime date as well.

The Clark gardens is located at the east border of Mineral Wells , just off highway 180. It is 30+ acres of landscaped beauty. There is a large variety of iris just in peak bloom. There are facilities for weddings and other functions. Check out the website for more info

We were on our way through Texas from Mississippi. We decided to take a stretch and saw a sign for this botanical park. "Okay, why not" we said. While it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and didn't expect to see much, we were wrong. This place is unbelievable. A magical wonderland of well groomed paths. Ponds, lakes,... More

Even at the end of a dry summer, the Clark Gardens manages to provide an excellent sanctuary from the usual landscape. Fountains, roses, and beautifully maintained landscapes engulfed us is a day filled with fun and fantastic food!

A great place to walk with smooth trails, mobility impaired can easily move on the semi paved surfaces. Great photo op. Entire family friendly! Reasonable admission, though I don't recall the prices.

I have been visiting since moving to Weatherford. The place has grown and become even more beautiful. They keep adding more events and enlarging the facility. My husband and I have been members for five years. The place never disappoints me.

In April 2016 we were married at Clark Gardens. We searched so many places and knew when we found this place, that was it. It's breathtaking - especially in the Spring. We were very happy about our selection. The only thing I would say is that the property is very strict with vendors so make sure that you have them... More
