It was very relaxing to come to this park, at the time my wife was having a major surgery and I just went here and spend a hour in prayer.

Tyler State Park is a hidden gem of cheap outings for a family to go and enjoy. Plenty of hiking and water activities in addition to some nice views and quiet spots.

I hesitated to review this park because I don't want a large increase in visitors to take away from the serenity of the park. It really is a jewel for hiking and camping. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I.

Great time at the lake with our granddaughter. Went for a boat ride and played at the playground before having a picnic. Lots of boats for rent, and RV sites or cabins.

Visited Tyler State Park in October. They have plenty of trails of various lenghts, including a two mile trail around the lake. The lake water is clear and has an area designated for swimming at your own risk. Tyler State Park also offers opportunity to...More
