So if this place were in any big city it would be no big deal. But, in Terlingua at the edge of Big Bend National Park and the fringe of civilization, it's a wonderful oasis. Good music, really outstanding drinks (try the prickly pear or horny toad margaritas) and good food (wild boar, boar sausage and good queso!). And, it's... More

Went there for dinner while at Big Bend. Loved the atmosphere. It was busy but the wait staff was very efficient and we did not have to wait long. We got a nice cold local beer quickly which made the rest of the wait more pleasant. Had an appetizer of Wild Boar with gravy which was really great and large... More

We decided to stop and visit this restaurant and bar for a beer and the view. Sitting on the porch, the view is spectacular but the people watching is even better. Lots of food being served and music performances...you will be entertained in more ways than you can imagine. A must visit while in Terlingua!

Great food and staff. Eclectic decor. We got there at 5pm when the doors opened based on a tip. The line gets very long. Great food and drinks. Atmosphere is awesome.

We came on a busy Saturday night during Spring Break. The wait was 1.5 hrs at about 8pm, but we ended up getting a table on the patio and were served with the bar menu immediately. We had a AMAZING burger, margaritas and homemade Mexican ice cream. The atmosphere was fun (live music) with good people-watching and the stars overhead.... More

This place does not cease to please for a unique Texas experience. We came for dinner on a busy night –New Year’s night. There was a Townes Tribute in memory of Townes Van Zandt. It was 1.5 hour wait for dinner but we sat in bar and had guacamole, queso and chips, with prickly pear margaritas which made our dinner.... More

Terlingua in January is nice. Few people but the Starlight Theater is still open. Its still a good idea for reservations in January if you are a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday brunch visitor. Steak is great. Service is fast and friendly. Try the dill cucumber home made dressing, and make sure you at least consider a burger. But, the burger... More

This place looks and feels like the best Terlingua, an incredibly fun place to visit, has. The decor is simply outrageous in the best sense of the world. The food I consumed was excellent. The mashed potatoes are even real. Live music was excellent. The service was well above average. I recommend blackened fish but everything looked great. This is... More

The Starlight Theatre is best known as a great place to eat but it also has a lively bar and a stage where live acts frequently perform. Next to the stage is where you can find Clay Henry III, the mayor of the nearby town of Lajitas, standing in his reserved spot every night. If this seems strange, consider the... More
