not fantastic, but nice place, for a picnic, or just watch the surf and boats go in and out of the harbor

It was a good facility. Looks good, with a lot of picnic tables. But when we were here, the wind was too strong, it was difficult to tach a fish. But the salt grass bait shop was good, they sold us some fresh shrimp with double amount.

As far as beach parks go, this one was nice. There are bathrooms, a playground, and a small beach along with the jetty. Albeit the bathrooms are beach bathrooms so don't expect them to look exceptionally clean or smell real good. In fact, this one didn't even have fully functioning doors. The playground is nice enough. The beach area is... More

We came at a perfect time to see a huge freight come in. Took great pictures of the beauty here. Would highly recommend this place.

We went to try to collect shells and try to see the dolphins. Once we parked and got out to the jetty you could see trash everywhere. Children were swimming in underwear and the smell of garbage was horrible. We started walking off the jetty to find shells in the rocks which be sure you wear shoes if you go... More

We walked to the end which is about a mile. The paved part is about half mile. There were so many people fishing it was unlike anything I've seen before. Very interesting. We saw probably 10 or so dolphins and lots of pelicans. We also saw lots of trash. Which was upsetting. People just leave their trash in the rocks... More

Its a beautiful place for a long walk.. Might be a little crowded on the weekend with people fishing on the side but that doesn't hamper the beauty and serenity of the place! To top it all parking is free. There's option to get to the sandy beach as well.. And yes, there's restrooms and play area for the kids.... More

I was really disappointed after making the hour long drive to this place. The beach was filled with litter, baby diapers, trash and the jetty was even worse. I'm not sure if these are hobbyists or people are using this jetty for commercial purposes but the amount of dead fish, trash and fishing equipment that was left behind was staggering.... More

A lovely stroll to the ocean while passing folks fishing. If you are lucky, you can spot a manta-ray or a sea turtle. Watch your step though-a few irresponsible fishers have left hooks and fishing line. People need to be more environmental conscious as well and police their trash and fishing items.
