It was our first trip to Spicewood on Lake Travis and our first trip to famous Krause Springs. We only went to the main pool and swimming hole, I know there is much more!

Nice place, it's a beautiful property, they have a small spring fed pool at entrance level, to get to the natural springs river area you have to go down to a lower level, there's a few ways to get down, the first one we used...More

Enjoyed diving in the springs, highlight is the rope to swing off the tree to the water. After big rains the waters are not crustal clear but it’s still fresh spring water!

We had a great time here. A lot daring kids and adults amused everyone around the water as they jumped off a little cliff point into the water. A lot of adults drinking alcohol made me feel a little uncomfortable and with a small area...More

Came with a group of friends. The spring was very small for the amount of people there.. it was VERY crowded and hardly anywhere to set your stuff by the water. The water was also brown and murky. There's just a lot of better options...More

Hi Jenna, thanks for visiting and for leaving your feedback. We do get really busy on hot summer months, especially on the weekends. Due to all the traffic in the pools, the water will definitely appear murky & brown. If you try to visit us...More

Fishing is allowed in a small area. I saw some nice size bass there when we went. They do have grills for you to use.
