I had read some variable reviews and what not sure what to expect, but this park was clean and absolutely gorgeous. The beach is great for all ages - lots of shells, surf stays shallow a good while, clean bathrooms, lots of picnic tablets. A beautiful place to spend a day or more.

We stayed here 2 nights in a spot close to the beach. The site was gravel with a concrete patio. There are no fire rings. The roads are paved. Also, as we found in most of the campsites we stayed in during a week of travels along the Texas gulf coast, stickers or sand burrs are a problem. They were... More

We bought a weekly pass for $25 vs. a $10 daily pass and visited nearly every day of our trip. This seemed to be the best place to find shells and also the best place to fish. A bonus is the beautiful scenery and lots of dolphin sightings.

I read that they are going to be renovating the buildings and that's why they are charging the $10 entrance fee. The beach in front of our condo was much cleaner and more scenic.

Charge of $10 to enter. If you are camping or fishing it may be worth the fee but if you are sight-seeing or going to the beach there are cheaper alternatives. Nice statue honoring those lost at sea.

The county charges to enter...guess people think it is a cleaning fee and they don't have to be responsible with their dirty diapers, trash AND fishing junk. Can't walk the jetties without seeing frozen bait cartons, personal trash, tons of discarded fishing line...some with hooks attached...total hazard to walk the area. They ought to prohibit fishing for about 1 year... More

Their beach was by far the cleanest of all the spots we visited. Pet friendly. Gorgeous views and the best surfing spot in Texas. You really can't ask for more.

There is a lot of potential in this RV Park. But with it being operated by the county and knowing the way counties and cities operate. They are siphoning the income from the park and placing it into the general budget ,and really not giving the park enough money to make improvements with. All in all it is a great... More

Isla Blanca Park is a beautiful place for rv camping as well as to spent the day for fishing, beaching, kayaking or water sports and use on of the cabanas with fire pits for a BBQ with a view. We stay there all day ($10 entrance for car), throw the kayak in the channel, have a swim in the beach... More
