We thouroughly enjoyed our visit to the birding and nature center!! Definitely a must see on SPI! Worth the price of admission.

We spent a total of 2 hours at the South Padre Birding and Nature Center on South Padre Island. Fantastic walkways so that you can get up close to the wildlife. Small charge for admittance. Easy parking. Telescope to view the birds afar.

It is very hot here in South Texas during July and August. I recommend coming in the morning for the best viewing of the resident birds. The best seasons to see a lot of birds would be during Spring and Fall Migration... More
